Lately I have been into trying to add new, healthy, enriching habits to my life as I kick some not so great ones to the curb (later laziness, smoking, and haphazard spending). I have been reading about
30 day challenges as a good way to do that and I totally love it and think its a great way to instill a change you want to make. Last month I gave myself 3 challenges: wake up between 7:30 and 8:00 am, meditate for 5 minutes each day (I know its not much but it's a hard thing to empty my head of the thoughts continually racing through, so I started small), and not smoking. I didn't do it perfectly everyday but I tried my hardest and it helped. I am not smoking at all, getting up earlier naturally, and I can meditate for 10 minutes but its still a challenge. Having a challenge and focus really helped me make some changes. I want to do it again this month but make it a more creative challenge and since I will be away for 10 days its gotta be something I can do traveling so....I am going to do a picture a day challenge to inspire some creativity in my daily life. Traveling will actually make it easier to do this since taking pictures on vacay is a natural. Apparently in January some peeps were doing a photo challenge with cute daily guidelines or so I read over at
Hula Seventy but being a day late and a dollar short I will be doing my photo challenge with no guidelines in March. Its gonna be great, stay tuned (but I am posting my first few pics)
