My New Obsession.....


 I just found the BEST addition to your kitchen......pomegranate syrup! It is seriously amazing. So delicious, its sweet and tart at the same time. I read about it in one of Heidi Swanson's (from 101 Cookbooks) wonderful cookbooks and I am in love. It's included in an eggplant dish in the book which I am sure is totally yummy but I used it with roasted beets and the tart sweetness complements them perfectly especially in the spinach salad with gorgonzola cheese I made with it. I can picture it working in all kinds of dishes both savory and sweet. The possibilities are absolutely endless. Go get some, right now!
